n Disneyland - Anaheim: Evaluation of several ride support & other existing structures and preparation of construction documents for the upgrade of the subject structures.
n Los Angeles Airport:
· Structural strengthening of framing for several remodeling work at a 9-story steel framed building.
· Structural opinion on the effects of remodeling work at concrete framed 1-story east administration building.
· Feasibility study for remodeling and addition at 1-story wood framed structure at Ontario airport.
n Rose Bowl – Pasadena:
· Brookside Golf course Clubhouse: Prepared construction documents for repair and mechanical upgrade of the existing 1-story wood framed structure with a partial basement.
· Provided a report for the feasibility of adding a cantilevered seating deck at first level of the existing steel framed Press Box structure.
· Structural evaluation report for the existing 1-story wood framed Brookside Clubhouse.
· Field widening: Construction documents for removal and reconstruction of the seating decks to widen the field to provide a regulation size playing pitch to accommodate the 1994 Soccer World Cup.
· Press box expansion and strengthening. Steel framed. Existing structure has been strengthened to accommodate a third level along with added wings on both sides of the existing structure.
· Structural Assessment of the stadium. Provide a yearly report of findings and as needed, provide repair/upgrade documents for the long term maintenance of the existing structures.
SEISMIC STRUCTURAL ASSESSMENT EVALUATION
n 1515 Walnut Grove Avenue Building – Rosemead: Performed a Structural assessment for this 4-story steel framed (with braced frames) office building and 2-story CMU Central Plant structure. Probable Maximum Loss (PML) percentage is provided.
n Getty Museum: Peer view of Malibu campus seismic evaluation.
n Los Angeles Airport: Structural assessment of existing 10-story concrete building at 9800 Sepulveda in Los Angeles.
n Presbyterian Church - Pasadena: Structural evaluation of existing 2 & 3- story plus basement Parish House, 2-story plus basement Kirk House and a parking structure. All structures are concrete framed.
n University of Southern California – Los Angeles: Concrete parking structures.
n University of Southern California - Los Angeles: Campus Seismic Survey of all buildings and ranking for seismic upgrade priority level.
n University of Southern California – University Gardens – Los Angeles: Structural evaluation for this 2-story steel and wood framed office building. Probable Maximum Loss (PML) percentage is provided.
SEISMIC REPAIR AND REHABILITATION
n South Science Building - University of Southern California – Los Angeles: Unreinforced masonry (URM) strengthening with gunite.
n School of Education Library - University of Southern California – Los Angeles: Unreinforced masonry (URM) strengthening with gunite.
n MCI switching station Building- Bloomington: Perform field survey of the existing cable trays and provide seismic strengthening construction documents.
n Rose Bowl – Pasadena:
· Seismic evaluation report for the existing steel framed Press Box structure.
· Prepared a report for the feasibility of adding a cantilevered seating deck at first level of the existing steel framed Press Box structure.
· Evaluation: Provided an evaluation report and construction documents for the voluntary Seismic strengthening/upgrade of the existing stadium.
